Sonny's our older Golden Retriever. He's getting a bit up in years,
so pretty much lazes around supervising things. He would sooner die than go swimming in our pool, but he loves
to play catch. However, he doesn't always bring it back! He can destroy any "indestructible" toy made, too. He
sure can track like a son of a gun and adores being petted, petted, petted.

Kati is our newest dog, a lovely Golden Retriever. Much smaller than Sonny, and with a much shorter
coat, she's trial bred. If we but had the time, she would be a perfect agility dog. And boy does she retrieve
... including from about 4' above the ground! We are very grateful to our small animal vet, Dr. Doug Shearer,
who gave her to us after Appy lost her leg - it sure was God's perfect timing. Because now she's Don's new Half Marathon
dog and the both of them enjoying running very much.
Appy is a beautiful red tri-color Aussie with gorgeous yellowish-brown
eyes. Although she lost a leg this year, she still enjoys a romp with the dogs inside or out. And the ding-a-ling
still chases the horses up and down the fence line! (She can't get into the pasture any longer, since Don installed
no climb fencing along the inside fence line.) And she has recently discovered the joy of running all over again,
for which Don is thankful.

Pandi is one of our two black tri-color Aussies with huge brown eyes. Not much has changed in her
life with us. She's still our "alert" dog extradinaire. She's still on good terms with all of us except
Tim - she barks and barks at him, then follows him to where he sits down and wants him to pet her. Nonetheless,
she's come a long way ... now if she only would listen when we tell her to stop barking! She's a really great
dog; we hope one day her fears from being left alone in a pasture for two years will continue to fade away from her memory.
Shadow is Carolyn's trail dog and runs 5K and 10K races with
Don. This photo shows her medal from a recent race she completed with Don. Not to worry, Don
gets his own medal. Although she took a couple of horse kicks when starting out being a trail dog, thanks to Cosaquin
DS, she's back to her old self. She also is the dog Carolyn take along when camping with our
horses.
Ballou (named after the movie Cat Ballou) is our blue merle Aussie
with blue eyes. She enjoys running 5 miles or less with Don now. She's surely a hairy beast, the hugest coat
of any of our dogs including our Goldens. Definitely a quiet disposition, she's a really good dog.
